Chelsea take on Manchester City in what will be the toughest test yet for the Blues. Chelsea are currently 2nd in the Premier league table with 17 points two behind leaders Arsenal, while Manchester City find themselves in 4th position with 16 points. Even though the game is at Stamford Bridge it will be a tough game fought between the two Title contenders for this years EPL crown.

Chelsea have started to hit form lately with the squad gelling up well under Jose Mourinho and with an unbeaten streak of seven straight games Chelsea will look to continue where they left off. Eden Hazard, Oscar, Torres and Eto'o look in supreme form and could again dictate the game for Chelsea in the attacking line up. As far as defense is concerned there's some good news for Chelsea supporters as Ashley Cole has been declared fit and could play against Manchester City this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City have also started to hit some form lately by winning their last three matches by scoring eight goals and conceding three. Aguero, Silva and Toure are the men to look out for when it comes to Manchester City's attacking prowess. Vincent Kompany will miss out on this game as well due to thigh problem.


By the looks of it, this game promises to bring out the attacking talent within both teams and it will be a tough job for both teams defense to stop them from scoring goals. It does promises to be an exciting tie and it also marks debut for Mourinho vs Pelligrini clash. Chelsea won their last game against Cardiff city with a scoreline of 4-1 whereas Manchester City won their first away match of the season with a scoreline of 3-1 against West ham at Upton Park. Last time when the Eastlanders visited Stamford Bridge it ended in a goalless draw, when the both teams were under different management. Sports betting giant bwin currently have Chelsea down as favorites due to their home advantage, however we all know what Man City are capable of on their day.
